The first medical sorority in the Philippines and in Asia.
An unbroken line of over a thousand lady doctors from the University of the Philippines Manila.
True to the Mu Sigma Phi Sorority's commitment to self-denying and community-centered service, Alay sa Musmos, an annual project of the Sorority, was held last September 15, 2017 at the Silahis ng Kalusugan School for the Chronically Ill, Department of Pediatrics, Philippine General Hospital. The project, specifically catered to young school-age children, aims to educate kids via an entertaining and interactive approach. The kids were in for a real treat as this year's theme, "Alay sa Musmos: Under the Sea", was delivered through a puppet show by members of the Mu Sigma Phi Sorority Batch 2021. Different underwater animals, as well as the effects of water pollution, and ways to protect the water environment, were introduced to the kids through the characters of the puppet show which included a mermaid, fish, shark, dolphin, and turtle, among others. Interactive games and a performance of the latest dance craze "Baby Shark" capped off this enjoyable session with the kids. We would like to thank the teachers, administrators, and most especially, the children of Silahis ng Kalusugan, for allowing us to share in this fun-filled and meaningful learning opportunity with them. AFTG!
