The first medical sorority in the Philippines and in Asia.
An unbroken line of over a thousand lady doctors from the University of the Philippines Manila.
Last August 1, 2018, Batch 2022 of the Mu Sigma Phi Sorority held the turnover rights for their batch project — BLAZE: Overcoming Obstacles for Cerebral Palsy Awareness— at the Philippine Cerebral Palsy Inc. building in San Antonio Village, Makati. Sisses Karol Tablante and Chin Vista, both μΣΦ 2020, also assisted in the event. Hosted by Sisses Faith Baccay and EJ Remoreras, both μΣΦ 2022, the program was chock-full of exciting activities for both the PCPI kids and their guardians alike, featuring a series of competitive “Bring Me” match-ups, a song-and-dance number performed with and by the kids, and a sumptuous meal sponsored by Jollibee. The event was capped off with a few words from Sis Ina Aguirre μΣΦ 2022, overall head of BLAZE, and Ms. Ruth Lachica, the current Director of PCPI. In evidence of the batch’s efforts to give back to the community, a total of two desktop computers and one laptop were handed over to the institute, assisting in their operations in the years to come.
