"Christmas is the spirit of giving without a thought of getting. It is happiness because we see joy in people." - Thomas Monson
Last December 7, 2017, the children at the Department of Pediatrics - Philippine General Hospital were in for a special treat as the annual Parol Para sa Sanggol was held to bring holiday cheer and Christmas spirit to the wards. It was truly a heartwarming event as the kids, along with their family members and caretakers, were entertained with a short program by members of the Sorority, received not only food and small presents, but also, donations of nebulizers to augment the treatment of the children. Undergrad Sisses from batches 2018-2021, and Resident Sisses Meg De Rivera µΣΦ 2014 and Marianne Naria-Maritana µΣΦ 2014, were present at the event. This wouldn't have been possible without the kind and altruistic contribution to the cause made by the several donors who purchased our parols, and our food sponsors for the event, Jollibee Pedro Gil and Zest-O Corporation. In behalf of the Mu Sigma Phi Sorority, we would like to extend our sincerest thanks to everyone's generosity in making this Christmas season a memorable one for the children. May you have a meaningful holiday and a fruitful new year ahead! AFTG!
