By Ria Mae Verdolaga, µƩɸ '13 • 1 August 2009

Last June 23, the Mu Sigma Phi Sorority and Fraternity welcomed the UP College of Medicine’s Class 2014 with a party aptly dubbed “Ignite.” It was a post-dinner party held at the Fluid Bar in Malate, Manila. Despite the heavy downpour during the afternoon and evening of the event, freshies did not pass up the chance to have fun and mingle with their classmates and the Mu brods and sisses, especially since there were no classes the following day.

Goblets clinking, silverware tinkling and red roses topping violet-draped-on-white tables. The quietly elegant atmosphere was perfect for KaMUstahan, the Mu Sigma Phi Sorority’s annual sorority orientation for freshmen. Held last July 22 at The Clubhouse on the sixth floor of Two Adriatico Residences, the KaMUstahan had always been an opportunity for the sisses of the Sorority to get together as well as to show the ladies of the UP College of Medicine (UPCM) freshmen class what the Mu pride is all about.
